Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program Application Assistance

Rianne Kablan - GSP Help.jpg

Many of the achievements that I have reached today, including the Brown Fellows Scholarship at the University of Louisville, can be traced back to my acceptance to the Governor’s Scholars Program.

I thankfully had overwhelming support from family and friends, but guidance from Melissa Vermillion proved to be instrumental. Her help was more than just the practical aspect of editing and proofreading my essays. With her expansive involvement within the community, she connected me with all the necessary resources and people I needed to ensure that I had a competitive application and a strong chance to get into the program. While I might still have ended up where I am today without her help, it would have been much more difficult and I am always thankful for her help.

- Rianne Kablan, Sophomore at the University of Louisville.
