Melissa Vermillion

Melissa Vermillion has been a technical writer of grant applications for Hazard Community and Technical College for nine years, making persuasive arguments which secured over $20 million in grant funding. Melissa has also served on the Interview Committee for the Robinson Scholars Program. Melissa is an Essay Reviewer for American Mensa Foundation Scholarship program. She has also coached students in mock interviews for selective admission programs.

Melissa has assisted several students while they prepared applications to programs such as Governor Scholars Program, Craft Academy in Excellence in Science and Mathematics, Rogers Scholars and more. Melissa has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a MBA from Morehead State University. She has been married to Kevin Vermillion for 30 years and has two adult children, Rebekah and Alex. Rebekah received a full ride scholarship to Murray State University to study Wildlife/Conservation Biology. Alex received a full ride to the University of Louisville to study Chemical Engineering at the Speed School.
